Training Programs for aspiring teachers and serious
students of yoga.

200-Hour
Teacher Training starts February,
2011
The foundational 200–hour program is ideal for serious
students of yoga and aspiring teachers. It is recognized by Yoga
Alliance and comprises three areas of study: The Theory and
Practice of Yoga, Yoga Philosophy and The Art of Teaching.
Students who complete the 200-hour teacher-training program will:
• Deepen their practice and understanding of yoga
• Know how to structure and create a cohesive, well-rounded
class
• Acquire an understanding of yoga philosophy
• Build relationships with highly experienced yoga teachers
• Become a member of a learning community that includes
world-renowned
teachers worldwide
• Have the confidence and tools to begin teaching yoga
• Qualifies students to register with Yoga Alliance at the
200-hour level

Advanced Study for Graduates of a 200-hour
Teacher Training Program
* Info Session, June 12th at 2:00pm
This six-month program provides students with an opportunity to
build upon the material introduced in a 200-Hour Teacher
Training , integrate what they’ve learned through practical
application in the classroom, and support the development of
their individual voice and style as a yoga teacher. Through a
combination of workshops and six-month apprenticeship with a
senior trainer, students will refine their teaching skills,
identify areas of expertise, and set the foundation for fully
incorporating yoga into their life path.

• 6-month apprenticeship with a mentor teacher
• 13 weekend workshops
• Philosophy & Practice Teaching
• Pranayama
• Final project
300 hour details If
you are a graduate of a non-YogaWorks 200-hour Teacher Training,
you will be required to take a bridge program before the start
date of the Professional Program.
