These classes provide
a depth of focus that will expand your understanding and
your abilities. We’ll give you skills, information and
hands-on practice to become a more effective and
empowered teacher and practitioner. Our classes cover a
variety of topics that are especially pertinent to
teachers – improve your ability to “read” bodies, use
your voice and language to inspire your students,
explore the finer details of alignment and individual
modifications, and more. Each instructor brings a wealth
of experience and exploration to their topic.
These classes are open for students of all traditions of
yoga. While many classes are geared towards aspects of
teaching, like any yoga practice they will also deepen
your self-knowledge and your connection to the path of
yoga. Dedicated and curious non-teachers are also
welcome!
Emotions on the Mat with Soleil Hepner
June 19, 1:00-3:30pm
Emotional memories are stored
in the body.
And though group yoga classes are not typically structured
to enable you to process that, there are ways to allow for
the awareness to be revealed & supported.
In this workshop, learn to merge ancient yoga postures with
a contemporary approach to "verbal exploration" of the
present moment.
As yogis and teachers, explore using the power of the
witness to engender empathy and positive regard for your
personal and your students experience to augment
transformation at the cellular level.
This workshop uses the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy approach
as a way of supporting yoga teachers & yoga enthusiasts in
coming to a deeper level of understanding of the
Mind-Body-Emotion Connection.
