island to find peace. This urban retreat will create an
inner sanctuary in the midst of a busy life. Find your safe
harbor, right at home!
In this delicious retreat our focus
will be discovering ways to approach our yoga practice and
ourselves with love and integrity. Together, we will dive
deep into the spaciousness of time and abundance, a
spaciousness that is always available but easier to access
using meditation, asana, pranayama and the formal practice
of Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra, or iRest, (integrative
restoration) is a meditation that becomes a tool that
we can take into the world to help us journey through our
lives.
Physically and energetically, Yoga
Nidra builds deep reservoirs of peacefulness, tranquility,
serenity. Mentally and emotionally it helps us realize and
then liberate habitual patterns. Spiritually it is a guide
to answering questions such as, “Who am I?”
Through the use of progressive
relaxation, affirmation, pranayama, visualization and other
techniques, we will pass through awareness of the body,
breath, senses, emotions, mind, and beyond. This helps to
liberate us from conditioned patterns giving way to living
and relating from the true heart of who we are.
Participants will enjoy a total of 8
hours of formal instruction. This is your time to relax,
renew and awaken your spirit! Please join us for this
transformative weekend.
About Jennifer
In 2003, Jennifer became fascinated
by this deeply healing practice of Yoga Nidra. She delved
into both a personal practice and formal study of this
Tantric form of self-inquiry. She has completed the
level 1 and level 2 Yoga Nidra (iRest) teacher training with Richard
Miller PhD. She is currently enrolled in a 2 year
course to become certified by Richard Miller PhD, as a iRest
yoga therapist.
