Jennie Honda
Jennie began practicing yoga on a cold, Chicago day in January of 2001 and instantly warmed up to the centuries old tradition. She was drawn to yoga for its integrative and, for her, calming approach – emphasizing the connection between body, mind and breath. Genuinely tuning in has been both enlightening and empowering for Jennie. Her style draws from her love for being active and engaged, her many great teachers, and her Yoga Works teacher training emphasizing Iyengar and Ashtanga principles. Focusing the mind, aligning the body and tuning in to the breath-movement connection are of great importance to Jennie as she guides her students to their own sense of inner unity. Jennie works to create a safe and inviting space for all to experience yoga’s benefits in their own bodies and their own minds.
